Did anyone else see Lady GaGa perform at the Miss Universe pagent?? It was some crazy shit, her dancers were freaking me out, but the performance was great.
Also I loved the costume portion of the contest, you absolutely can't beat Miss Albania dressed as a vampire and Miss Dominican Republic dressed as a slutty baseball player..classic!

By the time you get to the monkeys you are plastered..
This is what one of my co-workers told me Friday about the Wild in the Zoo fundraiser event that is held every year at Oakland Zoo. One night to support the zoo local restaurants and bars set up booths all over the zoo for wine and beer tastings and yummy apetizers, but since it's lots of free booze naturally everyone ends up shitfaced. I'd totally forgotten about this event, but alas 4 or 5 years ago I had gone to it. My friend Carlos worked in public relations for the zoo and got a few of us in free. Rest assured we had lots to drink and nothing to eat. The best part of the night was watching this lady who was probably in her late 50s take a spill and knock over a camera display..the resulting chaos was priceless. Also in case you were wondering..I don't even remember making it as far as the monkeys.

Let Freedom Ring!
Happy 4th of July everyone! I for one plan on sitting in the park most of the afternoon drinking beer and carrying on until finally the real fireworks start! Although currently all the fog might stop the fun!
Of course yesterday the weather was beautiful. I went to see the Giants fend off the Cubs in the afternoon, got a nice tan, and had lots of ballpark food, a fine way to start off 4th of July weekend.

A Whole New World!
First of all I finally have my very own laptop..I know it's about time that I got with the program. Anyways now I am no longer restricted to just using the computer at work which made it hard for me to blog..because bleh people are always watching, or calling or wanting me to do stuff.
Secondly I can now do a blog post directly from my igoogle homepage so as soon as I launch my browser I can just jot down a few lines, no signing into blogger.com and going through all the motions..so in theory I'll be blogging lots more..although shit lets be honest...sometimes I just get lazy.

Barcelona!
I was recently in Barcelona for a few weeks hanging out and it's a great city, one of my favourite in the world. It has all of my main requiremens for a great city.
1. Sunny Weather
2. Awesome transportation system
3. Nice Beaches
4. Great Nightlife
Here's one of my favourite pictures from the trip. Think it pretty sums up my time there. That's of course Conor and Danielle my flatmates from Sydney, they came over from Ireland to celebrate my birthday, drink some and create havok, we succeeded on all counts!
