Pictured is the Debbie Downer that Joey saw at Disneyland, you can tell she’s not having fun at the Happiest Place on Earth. We all know a Debbie Downer, always complaining about things, never having fun, everything is always a disaster. Rachel Dratch does the character great on Saturday Night Live. There’s a Debbie in my office, this morning I went into the copy area and she was making copies and says to me, “Look these copies are too dark, and look at this one the letters are a bit stretched, I don’t know why I even come in, nothing ever works right.” It’s always doom and gloom, then a bit later I go to get some water and DD is saying how the tea is making her queasy and she thinks she’s coming down with a cold. Then she tells me how her friend’s dad is in the hospital here and she hopes he doesn’t die. Dammit Debbie I dare you to have a good day! Also Debbie Downers usually talk in an Eeoyre voice. I don’t know what it is but DD’s crack me up, every time they are on a doom and gloom tangent it makes me laugh, because it’s always something so ridiculous, so thanks Debbie Downers you brighten my day!

It's only when I've listened to a DD for any length of time that I realize I'm a pretty upbeat person. That's unless the tsunami that we're expecting doesn't show up first.
