The Best Laid Plans

So I'm not headed to Thailand after all not gonna get into it but there was an ordeal with my tickets, couldn't get the original discount price so had to scrap it. Anyways instead I'm going sailing on the great barrier reef..not a bad backup trip if I do say so myself. Should be loads of fun, I'm going on a maxi sailing boat which is one of those ones that used to compete in yacht races so we should be skimming along the ocean sideways and super fast..fun/scary. It's a 3-day cruise so I get to chill on the boat for a bit, then I'm just gonna hang for a few more days on land up by the reef, probably get some more snorkeling and sailing in then as well. Still no word on where I"m gonna live at but I'll get to it soon enough, lots of my roomies are going home so there's been lots of farewell parties of late..gonna miss everyone but I'm sure I'll meet some more cool people in my next place. Some of my friends though are here for a their whole degree or a year long exchange so luckily I'll still have lots of people to hang with when the semester ends. Okay I need to stop my procrastination and get back to studying.
