Irish Invasion

This has been a crazy week..I've had 2 major assignments due that I never thought I'd finish and now work for the next couple of days..I have to say I'm rather exhausted. This weekend however I've gotta buck up though b/c the Irish are coming to town, Conner and Danielle that is my lovely roomies from Sydney are up here in Queensland for a last hoorah. Sunday I'm meant to go down and meet them in Surfers Paradise which not only has some of the best beaches on the Gold Coast but some of the best nightlife as well..so we're gonna have a rowdy Sunday session and then it's back to Brissy and class for me, until Wed. when they get to my house and stay for 3-4 days..should be a good time I'm already stocking up on water. In Brisbane roomate news on Tues. night my roommate Tim was super drunk and decided he was going to show off his new breakdancing skills..until about 1:30am...it was a joy to all I tell you..there is a reason why a) 18 years olds shouldn't drink and b) the bowls clubs (these are lawn bowling clubs--kinda like bocce ball) shouldn't be allowed to serve $3 mixed drinks 24/7. I've only got another month until I'm done with finals and everything I can't wait..I majorly need a holiday on a warm beach with no thoughts of looming assignments or work in my head.
