German Party!!

Friday night I went to a German party at this bar in the West End of the city it was a really cool place with this awesome courtyard/patio in the back..the perfect place for a yoddelling competition and bratwurst eating competition!! It was about half Germans and half French people there don't ask me why but the French always pop up everywhere. This big german girl won the bratwurst eating contest and you know what she won--you guessed it..lots of german beer!! My roommate Jann has been telling stories all semester about this crazy french girl he met and how he had to save her from drowning one time when she was so drunk, kept running into the ocean. Every once in a while he'd have another random story about her and then finally on Friday night I saw her and wouldn't you just know it, it's this girl that's in 3 of my classes and she seems really quiet I would've never thought her the type. Now she probably won't talk to me in class anymore thinking that since I know Jann I must know about her drunken antics..so embarass. I also discovered that almost every french girl seems to be called Astrid, it must have been the popular name there back in 1980 or something. Afterwards we went to a club that has a pool in the middle..nothing but trouble I tell you..I'm surprised no one has drowned in that thing. Today I'm in the library trying to finish 2 projects that I have due next week but after that I'm done until finals...so exciting can't believe my first semester is almost over!!
